If you’d like to ask a question or make a comment, then this is the place to do so.
Unfortunately, due to the large number of questions being submitted at present, it is not always possible to reply individually to each and every one. However, every question submitted or comment made is read and appreciated (well, usually!). When I haven’t the time to respond individually and a number of questions relate to the same issue, then I’ll try to respond, in due course, by way of an article published on the site.
Gender, Age Range, and Country
The first three fields on the form (“Gender”, “Age Range”, and “Country”) are for statistics gathering. They are entirely optional, and if you don’t want to provide any information, then leave these fields at their common default value of “No Comment”.
Keep Private
If you leave this field at its default value, “Yes”, then the contents of your email will not be used for any purpose, other than to respond to you privately. If you select a value of “No”, then I might include an extract from your email in one of the articles that appear on this site to illustrate the issues and concerns that are of interest to readers. Any such extract will only refer to you by your first name and will not contain any information that could be used to identify you.
Name
Field “Name” is for your name. If you prefer not to give both your first and second names, then just give your first.
Email Address
Field “Email Address” is the email address to which I should send a reply (assuming, that is, one will be forthcoming!). As your question may refer to personal medical matters, the contents of the email may well be sensitive. I won’t pass the contents on to any third parties. However, no one in today’s world can guarantee that digital information won’t be hacked (as even government security agencies have discovered). If your question is particularly sensitive, then consider using a different email address to the one you usually use for personal correspondence. There are many free email services available on the Internet where you can sign up anonymously, and which you can use in situations where you wish to hide your identity from hackers and corporate marketers: just search for Free Email Reviews and select a reputable site.
Message Title
Field “Message Title” should state briefly the subject matter of your question or comment.
Message Content
Field “Message Content” is for the contents of your message. Note, you can drag the icon at the bottom-centre of the text area downwards to increase the size of the message box; and you can either type directly into the message box or copy and paste text from another computer application.
Submit Question Button
When finished, press the “Submit Question” button. If the spam filter decides that, on balance, you’re more likely to be a human than a robot, then a page acknowledging the email submission will be displayed!
Publicly Accessible Browser
Note, as always, if you’re using a computer to which other people have access, then it’s a good idea to clear your browser’s cache when you have finished sending an email (if you don’t know how, then follow the instructions in the wikiHow article How to Clear Your Browser’s Cache).
